• POWER DOES NOT TURN ON:

1. Check 3 amp circuit breakers on rear panel. If breaker is blown Click Here to refer to "the 3 amp breaker is blown".
2. Check outlet.

• POWER TURNS ON (FAN ON) BUT MICROPROCESSOR DOES NOT LIGHT UP:

1. Check plug.
2. Check fuses.
3. Check connector inside side cover. Make sure plug is secure.
4. Turn off the machine. Remove the operator side cover, on the back of the microprocessor make sure all the black chips are pushed in. This is a very fine adjustment you might not even feel like you pushed anything in. Put the side cover back on machine. Turn on the machine the microprocessor screen should start counting down.
5. If none of these steps work contact Technical Support email or call 760-489-1400

• MICROPROCESSOR COMES ON BUT DISPLAY IS SCRAMBLED:

1. Turn off the machine. Remove the Operator side cover, on the back of the microprocessor make sure all the black chips are pushed in. This is a very fine adjustment you might not even feel like you pushed anything in. Put the side cover back on machine. Turn on the machine the microprocessor screen should start counting down.

• TRANSPORT "LOCKS UP" WHEN RUN BUTTON IS PRESSED:

1. Check the 3 amp breaker on the rear panel. If breaker is blown Click Here to refer to "the 3 amp breaker is blown".
2. Check Gears for any obvious missing teeth or binding.
3. Rotate the machine manually by grabbing the main roller and twisting. Does the machine turn over easy? if not clean the bearings on the machine by flushing them. As the machine is running take some LPS greaseless oil and spray into the bearings. As you are doing this you will notice a bunch of black build up coming out. This will inprove the function of the machine.

• FEED TABLE NOT FEEDING CORRECTLY:

1. Clean feed wheel rollers, then Use Count Rubber Rejuvenator on each wheel.
2. Make sure the paper retard spring is not bent away from the stationary roller.
3. Check the Stationary Roller for a flat spot. If there is a flat spot rotate the stationary roller until the lower portion is round.

• SHEETS NOT FEEDING STRAIGHT:

1. Clean ALL rubber rollers.
2. Align feed table rails.
3. Check forwarding rollers. Make sure the set screws are snug.
4. Check burr wheels. Make sure they turn freely. Lubricate with LPS greaseless oil occasionally.

• NOT REGISTERING:

1. Clean rollers.
2. Check pressure on burr wheels above main roller. If these are not down firmly, your registration will be off.

• NUMBER APPEARS BLURRY:

1. Head is not level. Refer to "Leveling a Head."
2. Not enough pressure. Adjust with height adjustment screw.
3. Ink cartridge is empty or flow of ink is not consistent.

• PERFORATION IS NOT CLEAN OR CUTS SHEET:

1. Blade is worn. Pull perf assembly and inspect tips of blade. Should be cupped in a u-shape. If they appear flat, replace blade. See "Replacing a Perf Blade."

• PERF IS NOT STRAIGHT:

1. Check for equal pressure on all burr wheels and that none are hanging up.
2. Make sure forwarding rollers set screws are snug and in position.
3. Check feed rails and align.

• HEAD FIRES BUT NUMBER DOES NOT ADVANCE:

1. Too much pressure, solenoid cannot make full stroke.
2. Ink cartridge or repeat selector too close to sensor or forwarding roller.
3. Head is dirty. Clean with Count Clean & Lube.

• NUMBERS TURN OUT OF SEQUENCE:

1. Head is dirty.
2. Head has been damaged by using blanket wash to clean.

• THE THREE AMP BREAKER IS BLOWN:

1. If breaker is blown most likely the driver board has blown. This will need to be replaced before the machine will work. You can purchase the item from our parts page. Click Here to go to the parts page.
2. Before replaceing the driver board meter the wall to see if the voltage is to high for the machine.
